Fail at it...6 Reasons You Should be Failing!

How many of us are scared of failure?  I'd guess a lot.  I'd like to argue that failure can be good for you. That's right, you should fail at something and here's why:
    1. if you're failing at something, it means that you are trying to learn something new!
    2. if you're failing at something, it means that you are pushing yourself outside your comfort zone
    3. if you're failing at something, it means that next time you might succeed and you will have learnt so much more than if you got it first time around.
    4. if you're failing at something, it means that you will learn from your mistakes
    5. the bigger your failure, the greater the success to follow
    6. if you can learn to thrive when things are not going well, you've learnt resilience

What's life without risk?  Remember a child will stumble 2000 times before they learn to walk, it certainly redefined tenacity.  So why does a child do this, when we trip once and won't try again?  Because they only have encouraging voices outside of them, and they don't have negative voices inside them.  Listen to your inner critic next time you try something new.  How does it make you feel?  Like you can get up and try again, or like a miserable failure who shouldn't even dare to start?  Pay close attention and choose what you tell yourself when you are learning something new.  It can make the world of difference to your ability to fail and try again.

Stretch those wings and don't worry about failure, you'll still learn to fly.
